Steps to take towards balancing life and creating a brain-body connection:
Working on strength and resistance training, which can be done by lifting weights or doing pilates.
Walk and take the stairs when you can.
Strengthening your quads can be done by leaning against a wall and sliding down into a squat and then standing again.
Have your hearing and vision checked regularly.
Improve your balance, for example, by doing yoga.
Wear the right shoes.
Speak with your doctor.
Make sure there are no trip hazards in your house such as wires and rugs.
