Sharon Wang and Ilene Sandick Greinsky are healthcare professionals who have specialized training in providing care for older adults. They interface with primary caregivers and professionals in a variety of areas, such as health care, care options, counseling, housing, community resources. By being able to explain options in an impartial manner, arrange for services, coordinate care and monitor the changing needs of older adults they provide continuity of care and serve as valuable resources. They are there to help during that stressful decision making time regarding physical/mental health, living arrangements, finances and future needs of loved ones. They assist the individual(s) in maintaining independence at home and in easing the transition to a new setting, if necessary. Their goal is to provide solutions that acknowledge both the individual's and family's values, needs and goals.
